WEEK 4
WEEK 4
PRE-CLASS:
WATCH: The videos provided on this page to assist your understanding of workflows and game audio implementation. Open Unity and develop your project using some of these techniques.
READ: Head to the SAE Library Site, click the databases button just below the main search bar, then open up the AES Library. In the AES Library, search for journal articles related to the project research on immersive implementation of audio into game levels. Look for content to paraphrase and directly quote and bring this into your research paper where possible.
DISCOVER: Search and download sounds to use in your sound design using Soundly or another sample site. Import these sounds into your DAW of choice and begin preparing them for implementation into the game engine.

PROJECT WORK
Create a Learning Journal entry for this week.
This should consider and discuss research undertaken and make use of APA 7 style referencing.
It is recommended you use the questions below to get you started.
Address the following points or use the weekly reflection template:
What have I learned this week? This could be related to soft skills or hard skills.
What did that involve? Go into more details.
What feedback have I collected this week? How am I going to address it? Record any feedback (verbal or written) you receive from your facilitator or peers and reflect on it in your journal.
What challenges did I encounter? How did I/how am I going to address them?
What am I unsure about? Have a question or something you don't understand? This is something you can ask your facilitator.
