Full-Time Students: Students in grades 9-11 are required to be enrolled in six (6) classes to be considered full-time and eligible for co-curricular clubs and teams. Students in grade 12 are required to be enrolled in five (5) classes to be considered full-time and eligible for co-curricular clubs and teams.
Work Study: Students in grade 12 can earn up to one (1) credit for work study/ community service. This can be used as a 6th credit for students in grade 12 but cannot be considered one of the five (5) required courses. Students must meet with their school counselor to be sure they are eligible.
Academic Plan: All students are encouraged to develop a four-year academic plan to ensure that all graduation requirements are met and courses needed to pursue post-secondary goals are included. Subject recommendations for various colleges and career programs are listed below and should be considered when developing a four-year plan. Since these recommendations change and often differ between colleges, students are encouraged to consult with their school counselor, check college websites, and/or communicate with the college admission office directly.
