Fundraisers
Students have the opportunity to reduce the cost of their individual Dinner Dance ticket:
October/November: Winter Flower Fundraiser - Orders Due November 10th at midnight
Want to reduce the cost of your Dinner/Dance ticket? Consider fundraising by selling winter plants. Send your family, friends, and local businesses to the link below or found in the Google classroom to order plants. Have them put your name in the "Special Notes" field. You may also choose to collect orders on paper using an order form.
$5 from each plant ordered will go to reduce *your* cost for the Dinner/Dance.
All orders must be in by November 10th at midnight.
Plants will be delivered on November 28th to be picked up from the Career Centre after school.

April/May: Spring Flower Fundraiser

Flower orders must be picked up from the school on May 9th

The After Grad parent committee also organizes fundraising for their After Grad event throughout the school year.
Grad Clothing

Winter Formal
Stelly's Grads are invited to a evening of dancing, fun and festive treats at the Stelly's Winter Formal on Wednesday December 6, 2023.
You must pre-purchase your ticket. There will be no ticket sales on the day of the event. Purchase early so you don't miss out! Tickets are $25 and include appetizers, dessert and reusable drink cup.
Please review the guidelines below:
Students must arrive by 7 pm except by special arrangement, doors open at 6:30pm. No in/out privileges during the event.
Students who have unexcused absences the day of the Winter Formal will not be permitted entry to the event (no refund will be issued).
This is a dry/substance free event. Students who arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol or attempt to bring prohibited items into the event will be sent home.
Saanich schools code of conduct applies during this event. Students are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully.
This event is for Stelly's Graduates only - guests from other schools and students in other grades are not permitted to attend.

Winter Formal Photo Booth
Grad Exec
The Graduation Executive (Grad Exec) is a group of grade 12 students who help to organize and lead events for their grad class. Students who would like to take on this leadership role are committed, enthusiastic and positive people! Members of Grad Exec meet twice a month in May and June in grade 11 and weekly during their grade 12 year. Grad colour, clothing orders, spirit days, pumpkin carving, tie dye, winter formal, fundraising, grad ceremony, dinner dance, and many other events are organized by Grad Exec.
Applications are available in April in your Grad Google classroom.
Yearbook Grad Quote
Remember to submit your Grad Quote and photos for the yearbook! Your write-up will appear beside your photo in the yearbook. Photos and videos will also be used for other grad related activities, such as a the Recognition Ceremony. The deadline is before winter break. Do not miss it!

Grad Legacy Gift
Every graduating class decides on a gift to give to Stelly's as a way to positively represent and reflect the graduating class and as an opportunity to give back to the school and the community.
Past gifts: benches, couches, school sign, murals, a refresh of school displays.
The Grad Exec gathers suggestions and input for the Grad gift.
Grad Photos
The portable portrait studio arrives at Stelly's in October/November, with retakes in January/February.

Enter "Saanichton" in the school's city to access your appointment booking code.
All grads must book an appointment for photos to be included in the yearbook (free). A $30 sitting fee is due at the time of your appointment if you are planning to order portraits.
Appointment times book up quickly so don't put this off. If no available appointments are showing, check back again as more time slots are released.

A Canadian Parents for French (CPF) sponsored event in April/May
For students in Immersion (FRAL 12) who graduate with a Double Dogwood
For students in Kindergarten who are starting their French Immersion journey
Semi-formal attire (no denim is preferred)

Parade of Honour (Cap and Gown event)
Cap and gown orders through Google Classroom. All grads will receive a cap to keep as a memento. Gowns are returned to the school.
Cap and gown event will take place on June 18, 2024. Details in Google Classroom. This event is for students and staff only.
