Iiked the icebreakers because it was interactive, fun and helped us remember the anmes of some of the people in the cca.
I feel like we could have tried out the more interesting thing related to the CCA to get us excited

I liked the Stellarium. simulation which let us look at the sky and find spesific celestial entities.
I feel like there could have been more interactive activities

today, they let us go into groups of 4 and make slides about what we learnt last week. It was fairly ok, but Javier kept on putting Lebron images. Today was kinda boring as we did not learn anything new. this lesson helped me recap about the sun, moon, magnetic field, earth and what I learnt in astronomy for now. this lesson is good cos I almost forgot what I learnt b4 the lesson. i look forward to the stargazing.

i started taking notes today, i will continue this habit in the future. i learnt about gravity, a inward pulling force, orbits which are any circular path around a star and kelpers laws. kelpers laws state that all planets orbit the sun in elliptical paths, with the sun located at one of the 2 foci of the ellipse, the speed of the planet is not constant; it moves faster when closer to the sun and slower when far away and that as the radius of the orbit increases, so does the time. i also learnt about some other stuff that i did not write notes about so i forgot about them alr. today was nice cos it was interesting and caught my attention more than the other lessons.

Today we learnt about atoms, radiation, spectra, doppler shift and some other things that i did not write notes about. then the other exco people did a presentation about astronomy and space or something like that. Also i made notes to prove that i actually paid attention for once and im too lazy to write them here. The exco people forced me to answer some question so i will answer it with AI.
🌟 I would convince the leaders by showing how astronomy can predict seasonal cycles, ensuring optimal planting and harvesting times to boost agriculture and food security. 📍 By aligning decisions with celestial patterns, we can navigate trade routes more efficiently and prepare for natural phenomena like eclipses or comets. 🙏 Trusting the stars isn’t just practical—it’s a sign of divine wisdom, strengthening our connection to the cosmos and our people’s faith in your leadership.
Today we learnt about telescopes which was actually really fun. we learnt about how to dismantle and assemble the telescope as well as how to operate it. there were 3 types of telescopes that a saw, one short one, one on a tripod stand and one that was motor powered and used gps to find celestial bodies in the sky. i learn about the origins of the telescope which was made by an accident by galileo galilei when he was making glasses. i also tried a telescope but it didnt seem
Today we made slides about what would be the best planet for scientists to research and be the second choice for a habitable planet. My group was gonna choose Mars, but it was taken by the first group, so we focused on Venus, which was the next best thing. there was also a presentation on the celestial sphere, morden astronomy and the origins or astronomy. i feel like newton had a greater influence in the world but galileo had a greater influence in astronomy as he made telescopic observations revolutionized astronomy, ushering in the era of modern astronomy and paving the way for scientific advancements.
Today we used Tinkercad to make a moonbase. My moonbase had a research lab, a plantation, a rover and a satalite. In the future i look into more factors such as warmth, drinking water, places to sleep and energy sources to make a better, more innvoative and realistic base. Ill also factor in luminosity as areas with higher luminosity allows for the use of solar power to generate energy.
Today we did a recap about all the things we learnt so far. Apparently, the slides will be sent to us, so I did not take any notes as I trust the people. We did a Kahoot match later, and I was on the podium for a while. I ended up being 5th. Then they let us make a base that would be on Mars. I did the first half and let Josiah do the rest. We had a water tank, a research lab, a plantation, and solar panels for an energy source. Mercury apparently has high radiation and no atmosphere. We could make our moon bases reinforced to sustain the intense weather.
Tday was T3 and we saw some presentations about some seniors experiences and projects in an astronomy competition in thailand. i also learnt about ksb and how to make and fly a rocket properly in thr simulator. then we did a blooklet and some guy called yin yee and asher stole my money at the last moment and made me last place. tday was vry fast
Tday we did some slides which i enjoyed a lot cos it helped me understand more about the subject and made me type down the blanks myself and that forced me to pay attention and actually read the information. i played some games for a while cos i was a bit bored and didnt understand what was going on. I will not play games next time. uh idk what to write anymore already. also i didnt play grow a garden i was doing other stuff :D
tday we did not go to a air con room and use lds but we went outside to do some fox hunting thingie. i think fox hunting uses radio direction finding to locate a transmitting device. we put some earpiece thingies in our ear and adjusted the thingie to the right frequency i think. there was like a static noise coming out of the earpieces and it would become more louder the closer the transmitting device is. my group found the device first for the second round.fox hunting can apply to astro as it can help in mapping radio emmisions and other stuff.
I learnt this today. I made the notes, Javier partially helped me with it, but I did most of it. By measuring the orbital period, velocity, and separation of these objects, they can apply Kepler's and Newton's laws of gravity to calculate the star's mass.
Sine and Cosine can be used in real life to find locations, determine distances and positions and some computer graphics.
i did notes today. this is my notes
These are the notes i made today. pulsars are neutron stars that beam radiation waves, it was first discovered in 1967 ,the core of a black hole is 3 times the mass of the sun which collaspes into a black hole, in 5 billion years--red giant--planetary nebula--white drawf.
Today we did fox hunting and i tried to help by using the radio thingie to find the box thingie. My group did not win but i somehow almost guessed where the box thingie was correctly.Fox hunting was fun. Then we learnt more about the sun. We also learn about how the sun is mostly hydrogen and more about sunspots and solar flares i think. Something that surprised me the most about the sun is how the sun can fit around 1
