Here is a double 5th grade class warming up to a Just Dance video. Just dance is a rhythm based game which leads the students through choreographed dance moves to the latest songs. The lead characters on the screen range from beginner to advanced dance abilities. The students have the choice as to which character to follow along with.
During our football stations lesson. One station had the projector set up, displaying the jitterbug app onto the wall. This app helps us to practice our proper throwing progression of a football. For every bug the student is able to pop, they earn points for their team. The game gets progressively faster as they advance to higher levels and they only have a certain amount of time to aim and throw before the bugs will disappear; this adds a nice "under pressure" type of throwing scenario.

These two 3rd grade boys were the lucky winners of this years spring raffle. They had a chance to sit courtside during our Varsity Senior Night Game. They were given the job of tracking the opposing team's attack chart, they helped give feedback and advice to the players in our time out huddles and were a great support for our Varsity players. The team thoroughly enjoyed having them and I can see a successful future for these two in the coaching world! They were fabulous!
