SHARE OUR HISTORY!

Revolutionary Westchester 250 (RW250) has assembled this catalog of engaging educational and interactive programming based on our experience with the presenters and reviews and feedback from historical societies, libraries, and municipalities.

You’ll find a wide variety of programs about the Revolutionary War period, including some that focus on the lives of women, persons of African descent and indigenous people.

The catalog is arranged by topic, with biographies of the presenters and their contact information at the end. If you see a program you would like to offer to your community, you take it from there—contacting, scheduling, and making payment to the presenters. We welcome your feedback and reviews after the program.

In addition to educating the public about the Revolutionary War era, this catalog is also helpful in programming for Woman’s History and Black History months, July 4th celebrations, Flag Day, Veterans Day, Memorial Day and other local history commemorations, parades, and events.

HOW TO USE THE CATALOG

1.  Review the catalog for programs and presenters that best fit your needs.

2.  Contact the program presenter directly for scheduling and to clarify all details. This catalog provides the contact information, fee structure and basic requirements for each program and presenter, but the specific arrangements you set up with the provider may vary from the description here.

3.  Help us share your program by sending us information and promotional material prior to the event. As appropriate, RW250 can help promote programs on social media and feature them in our monthly email newsletter. To be featured in our newsletter we need information at least one week prior to the month when the program will take place.
