Class Constitution

We the students of Mr. Russ’ Grade 4 Class, in order to have a respectful, responsible, 

and compassionate class, pledge to:

1. We have the RIGHT and RESPONSIBILITY to always cheer for the Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Elks!

2. We have the RIGHT to learn.

3. We have the RESPONSIBILITY to always to our best.

4. We have the RIGHT be respected.

5. We have the RESPONSIBILITY to treat others how you want to be treated.

6. We have the RIGHT to be heard.

7. We have the RESPONSIBILITY to share our ideas but listen to others. 

8. We have the RIGHT to be happy.

9. We have the RESPONSIBILITY to be kind to everyone.

10. We have the RIGHT to play.

11. We have the RESPONSIBILITY to include everyone and to play fairly. 

12. We have the RIGHT to be safe.

13. We have the RESPONSIBILITY to stand up for others, stop bullying, and not laugh at classmates.

Remember, democracy means you get a say in the rules, but it doesn't mean you get to vote on whether math happens today. Nice try, democracy.
