Pierrepont gained critical classroom space as well as large spaces for co-curricular activities, recognizing Rutherford’s growing enrollment and the goal of keeping students with special needs in their home school district.

New Pierrepont classrooms offer space for smaller classes and offices.

BEFORE: In a pre-construction photo, students are shown sitting shoulder-to-shoulder for lunch in the multipurpose room of Pierrepont.

AFTER: Students have plenty of space to eat lunch in the expanded area, which is also air conditioned and fully ADA-compliant.

The new gym is nearly twice the size of the old one, offering plenty of room for classes, athletics, and community group use. The new stage is equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems, enhancing the school’s theater and music programs.
