We would like to invite you to a Zoom Webinar where we will discuss what you can expect from us and, most importantly, how you can best support your children so they get the most out of their time at RSM.

We will share information about RSM’s philosophy towards math education and the curriculum and methodology we use to transform your children into strong mathematical thinkers.

Geometry For a Bright Future

Thursday, September 12th, 2024

During the webinar you will learn more about RSM Geometry Classes, enrollment process and course offerings.

RSM NY offers a 3 year Euclidean Geometry course in order to keep with international standards and to ensure deep coverage and thorough understanding of concepts. This course starts with Geometry I (6th Grade) is followed by Geometry II (7th Grade) and then Geometry III (8th Grade). Students learn how to prove theorems in a Statement-Reason format and cover topics including: properties and criteria of parallel lines, angles, triangles, inequalities in triangles and the study of polygons and 3D shapes.

Math Competitions & Olympiads

We are excited to update you on the growth of our competitions program, the RSM NY Math Team, and share new and exciting opportunities for the 2024-25 academic year.

We will continue to host many National and International Math competitions such as RSM’s International Math Competition (IMC), American Math Competition (AMC), Math Kangaroo, MOEMS and many others.

We will help make sense of this immersive math culture, understand the overall track and why we encourage students at every level in RSM to broaden their math horizons by participating. Join us for an overview, ask questions and gain insight from our expert competitions coordinator.

Grade 6-8: 12:15 pm - 2:15 pm

During this event, students will solve original problems from the most challenging contests as teams. Students will compete in team tests and have time to discuss their mistakes and the best problem-solving strategies. This is the first of several exciting invitational events RSM New York organizes for their best students. Do not miss it!

MATH BATTLE

Join us for an afternoon filled with fun, logic math puzzles and surprises for the audience! Teams of students and parents will compete against each other in this one of a kind fun math battle event. The whole family is invited!

MATH TRIO: HALLOWEEN

Join us for some spooky math! During this Halloween event, participants will celebrate their love for mathematics and, more importantly, test their own math skills by solving fun logic problems, riddles, and playing engaging games.
