This contest is a 30-min online math challenge based on curricula gathered from around the world. Registration for the online challenge is open for participation for a period of 2 weeks. Contestants can access the online challenge anytime during this period, (computer and an internet connection are required). Participation is open to all students in grades 3 - 9 and it is FREE. Parents can choose to register for free or register with a performance report (click on this link to view the sample report) for a cost of $20. Within 48 hours of the test they will receive a FREE report providing an overview of their score and an evaluation of the score. A detailed report will be emailed two weeks after the contest to those parents who paid.

Join us as we explore the geometry, strategy, and more that make soccer more than just a game—it's a mathematical masterpiece. Get ready to score some math goals and discover how math plays a crucial role in the spherical world of soccer!
This event is free, open to the public, and recommended for students in grades 3 and up.
VALENTINE'S MATH PROJECT
January 10th - February 10th 2024

All students are encouraged to participate.
For this project we are tasking our students to create their own interesting RSM-style Math Problem! Students are encouraged to use their current knowledge, reasoning with logic, and the mathematical skills they currently have of arithmetic, geometry, algebra and more.
Projects should be Illustrated in an interesting way if possible no matter the level. Students are allowed to collaborate with peers, and seek advice from their teachers and parents. Have fun with it!

Are you looking for a fun and educational way to celebrate Valentine's Day with your children? Look no further!
Children in grades 3-5 are invited to the Valentine's Day Snap and Solve ONLINE event! It is a live and interactive Valentine's day themed math and memory game led by RSM teachers. Our participants will have fun solving mathematical puzzles while nurturing their attention to detail and critical thinking.
This event is free, open to RSM families and their friends, and recommended for students in grades 3 - 5.

We will have two events for our students. In the first session for 3rd to 6th graders, we will practice for the Math Kangaroo contest. For 6th to 8th grade students the session will be focused on practicing and discussing best practices for the AMC-8 test. 5th & 6th grade students who wish to train for the Math Kangaroo and the AMC-8 test are welcome to attend both sessions.

We are pleased to announce that RSM NY will host the AMC-8 and AMC-10 at RSM 1st Ave. Branch, 1745 First Ave, New York, NY, 10128
American Mathematics Competitions are multiple choice examinations in mathematics containing problems which can be understood and solved with algebra and geometry concepts. This math competition is the most authoritative competition examination designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills.

For participation in any contests at RSM NY, a Code-of-Conduct form signed by both Parent and Student is required. Please download, sign, scan into a PDF file, and upload it on your registration form.
For participation in the MOEMS contest, an additional form is required. The additional form should be signed by a school administrator in the Student's day school. After it is signed, it can also be submitted on the same registration form.

The Online Challenge will be held in February 2024. It serves as a qualifier for the International Math Contest: a challenging Olympiad in the tradition of European Mathematical Olympiads with complex problems that promote a deeper level of thinking for even the most advanced students.
