Math Competitions
MOEMS is one of the most influential and fun-filled math competition programs in the United States and throughout the world, with over 120,000 students from every state and 39 countries participating. The competition provides opportunities for children to engage in creative problem solving activities while developing a child’s ability to reason, to be logical, to be resourceful, and occasionally to be ingenious.
Attendance at all 5 meet dates is required. Each meeting is about 30-50 min in duration.

The Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) is a semiannual problem-solving contest for elementary and middle school students.
The competition believes that problem-solving helps students to become better mathematicians, better thinkers, therefore better equipped for advanced STEM learning. The goal of the contest is to develop students' problem-solving skills, to encourage their interest in math, and to inspire them to excel in math.

American Mathematics Competitions are multiple choice examinations in mathematics containing problems which can be understood and solved with algebra and geometry concepts. This math competition is the most authoritative competition examination designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills.
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute competition designed for students in grade 8 and below.
The AMC 10 is a 25-question, 75-minute multiple-choice competition designed for students in grades 10 and below.
The AMC 10 offers two versions of the test, the 'A' and 'B' competitions. Students can choose the date that best fits their schedule or participate in both for additional practice.

The International Math Contest is a 30-minute Online Challenge based on leading math curricula from across the world. Developed by math professionals with decades of experience at the Russian School of Mathematics, the contest is specifically designed to give parents insight into how their child’s math knowledge ranks globally.

The Online Challenge will be held in February 2025. It serves as a qualifier for the International Math Contest: a challenging Olympiad in the tradition of European Mathematical Olympiads with complex problems that promote a deeper level of thinking for even the most advanced students.

For 26 years, Math Kangaroo has organized an annual international mathematical competition for thousands of students in grades K-12. Math Kangaroo's focus is on improving students' math scores and teaching them new strategies for solving word and logic problems, helping them with critical thinking and gaining confidence in the classroom.

Girls’ Adventures in Math is a team-based online math challenge created for girls! Competition questions come in comic form based on the lives of four of history’s greatest women. Girls work together in their teams to solve the problems. There are two levels of competition, each with two rounds of mind-bending problems to solve:

The Purple Comet! Math Meet is a free, annual, international, online, team, mathematics competition designed for middle and high school students that has been held every year since 2003. Teams of from one to six students compete by submitting solutions to a list of mathematics problems. There is a ten-day window during which teams may compete choosing a start time most convenient for them. The problems range in difficulty from fairly easy to extremely challenging. In 2022 over 12,000 students competed on over 3998 teams from 62 countries.
