Parents and Guardians, 

We’re thrilled to welcome your future 9th graders to MLKHS! As they prepare for this exciting new chapter, we want to highlight the incredible opportunities that await them. Our school is committed to fostering a well-rounded educational experience, allowing students to explore their interests and passions through a variety of programs.

For those inclined towards creativity, our Fine Arts program offers classes in visual arts, music, and theater, encouraging self-expression and artistic growth. Additionally, students can dive into our Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses, which provide hands-on learning experiences in fields like technology and business. These courses not only equip students with valuable skills but also prepare them for future careers and higher education.

Beyond academics, MLKHS boasts a vibrant array of clubs and sports teams that cater to diverse interests. Whether your student wants to join a debate club, participate in student government, or engage in athletics, there’s something for everyone!
