Both Monday, 11/3 and Tuesday 11/4 are WHITE DAYS (see FHS maroon/white calendar below).
Region 10 does NOT have any classes on Tuesday, 11/4.
Region 10 white day students, you are REQUIRED to attend period 8/9W on BOTH days. If you do not have transportation to get to school for 8/9W, you must come to school in the morning and attend in-person study hall for periods 1/2W, 3/4W & 6/7, then attend your 8/9W class.
The following week, there is no school at FHS on Monday, 11/10, for our faculty workshop day. Region 10 white day students DO have classes on 11/10. Freeport students are encouraged to attend if you have private transportation to Region 10, otherwise you can be excused from Region 10 classes on that day.
Friday, 11/7, and Wednesday, 11/12, are both maroon days. Region 10 Maroon day students will go to Region 10 on both of those days.
There is no school for anyone on Tuesday, November Nov. 11th to observe Veterans' Day.

Region 10 Color Day Calendar
Welcome to the Renaissance and the outrageous, crowd-pleasing musical farce, Something Rotten. Created by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Wayne Kirkpatrick, and successful screenwriters Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell, Something Rotten was lauded by audience members and critics alike, receiving several Best Musical nominations and hailed by Time Out New York as "the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years".
Set in the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as "The Bard." When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, and all that jazz.

Do you have a band instrument at home that is no longer being used? Our school is collecting gently used instruments to become part of the district instrument loan inventory. This allows RSU5 to lend instruments to families in need for free.
We are looking for flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, baritones, & percussion kits. If you would like to contribute, please drop off instruments at the main office during regular hours. Your generosity will help our program grow and give students the gift of music.
Thank you for your support!
