Brief biography of Chamberlain
Period 8/9: Read the article Defense of Little Round Top and highlight or underline reasons Chamberlain is the hero of the battle in one color, and then in a different color highlight or underline reasons he is not the hero of that battle (or that someone else is the hero). Then, take a side and write an argumentative piece on whether or not Chamberlain is the hero of the Battle of Little Round Top.
11/5: Reading and notes on immigration in Maine's history.
11/13: Read pages 313-321 in Finding Katahdin and took notes on how WW2 affected Maine. We then chose 4 pictures from the chapter and analyzed what we can learn from them.
11/14: Read pages 300-307 in Finding Katahdin and complete the questions & vocab on the worksheet you got in class.
