Emails not sending or receiving?

The email server went down the day after the power outage. We were able to push the new server to the iPads but it requires a little work on the student side.

There are a couple of things going on and the fix is fairly easy but not exactly the same, depending on what version IOS your iPad is running.

    • Go to Settings


    • Scroll down on the left-hand side until you see Passwords & Accounts (if you only see Passwords, go to next line where it says Mail and then click on Accounts)


    • Here’s where it may get tricky… you may see 2 Exchange accounts. If you see 2 Exchange/RSU#13 accounts, click on the Exchange account (NOT Exchange19… you definitely want to keep the account that has the number 19 in it) and Delete Account at the bottom of the screen… Delete from iPad

    • If you only see one Exchange account, continue below…

    • Select Exchange19 or RSU#13 Exchange19 mail account

    • Where you see Password go ahead and enter your email/Google password (you may see dots in there already indicating a password is entered but you want to enter it again)

    • Click Done or Save at the top of the screen…. Should see a series of checkmarks or green toggles

    • Double tap and swipe up to close Settings and Mail app

    • Reopen Mail app and all should be good

If this doesn’t fix it, please see Mrs. Johnson the next time you’re at school or call her. Her office is in the library near the circulation desk. Please come in even if there are students in there already.
