Charging

iPad won't charge or stay charged?

  • Make sure the charging block is fully plugged into outlet
  • Make sure the charging cable is plugged all the way into the charging block
  • Make sure the charging cable is plugged all the way into the iPad


If you've checked all of the above, perform a Hard Reset:

  • Press and hold the Power button and the Home buttons at the same time (this is how you take screen shots, too)
  • Keep holding until the screen goes black/blank
  • Continue holding until the Apple logo appears on the screen
  • Once the Apple logo appears, let the iPad start as usual
  • Try charging again.
