Music Council
This is a group that meets once a week to help organize activities such as our concerts, promotions, fundraising and trips. This is a great way to help the Music Department function at peak performance!
Our Music Council for 2023-2024 are:
President - Ellanor and Ian
VP - Vacant
Treasurer - Hannah and Emma
Social - Keyna, Hannah and Lilly
Secretary - Rebecca, Sam and Keyna

Our Instructors
Mr. Jensen is in his 25th year of teaching music. He is a trained classical guitarist who graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Music Degree. He has taught Music to students from as far away as Espanola, Carleton Place, Perth, and Auckland, New Zealand. Mr. Jensen has been teaching at Lockerby since 2009. Mr. Jensen has also played trumpet with the Laurentian University Concert Band, the Nickel City Wind Ensemble, the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra and formerly taught Instrumental Music Instruction to fourth year students with Laurentian's Department of Education.
