Tryouts begin Monday August 10, 2026 after school

(8th graders report when school is over, DO NOT MISS CLASS for tryouts)

Tryouts: MUST HAVE ATHLETIC & ACADEMIC CLEARANCE

• Student MUST have Athletic Clearance (procedure on CHS Athletics Page, link here and at bottom of this page). Follow the directions to the letter (example given).  Make sure the Concussion for Students certificate is in the player's name.

• Student MUST be Academically eligible (hard copy of grades presented to coach or electronically emailed to coach)

  • 9th Graders (and 8th graders) get a "free pass" - you are automatically academically eligible

• Student MUST attend the tryout sessions (Monday Aug 10 2:10pm, Tuesday Aug 12 2:10pm, Wednesday Aug 13 2:10pm) - if not able to attend, please email Coach Rusk - 8th graders report AFTER their school is over

Storm Drain: (pre-season camp) MUST HAVE ATHLETIC & ACADEMIC CLEARANCE

• Storm Drain will be conducted the week before tryouts.  This is NOT mandatory but suggested.

• August 4, 5, 6 from 2:10pm - 4:00pm, $30 (all goes to program) - link will be sent 

• Cleveland Grass Fields next to tennis courts.

• Open to all rising 8th - 12th graders. (8th graders should NOT miss school for camp)

• Sign up for School Cash and the camp will populate onto your student's account - info and links will be sent by email and Remind 

• Bring Cleats, Running shoes, Shin guards, Ball, Water, and top to change into afterwards. No sharing of water is allowed. Please try to wear Day 1 - white top, Day 2 - grey top, Day 3 - electric blue top.
