The Rapides Virtual Program is not a separate school. Every school in Rapides Parish offers classes through the Rapides Virtual Program, and every virtual student will be fully enrolled at his or her enrolled school. However, students in the virtual program will not go to the school campus to attend classes.

The Rapides Virtual Program will look slightly different from school to school. Virtual learning may consist of specific times for students to login to to see a live lesson and interact with the teacher, but it will also consist of students accessing learning at different times and working through the learning at his/her own pace.
