What does the Science of reading mean for families?

Reading instruction has begun to make an important shift. Growing evidence in the field of cognitive brain research has been made more accessible to educators helping to inform best practices in reading instruction. Educators are now implementing changes in their instruction to ensure all students are taught to read.
