9th-12th grade: High school digital citizenship lessons are on a 4 year rotation so that all students receive the same 2 lessons each year, but will engage in all 8 lessons during their high school career. This eases the burden of teaching digital citizenship to mixed-grade level classes, so you can teach the same lesson to all your students each year. 3rd-12th grade: For the 2026-2027 school year, 3rd grade students will engage in 1 AI literacy lesson designed to be an introduction to AI. This lesson has been shortened and tweaked based on the AI literacy launch lesson from last year. All students in grades 4-12 will engage in 1 AI literacy lesson that covers AI prompting and how to write strong prompts. The AI prompting lessons will be broken into the following grade spans: grades 4-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12, and will be taught using Nearpod.
