SUMMER 2025, 2026
Math for Academic Success is a three week Mt. SAC summer school course. It is intended to help students refine essential middle school math skills through the use of real-world problems and activities. Students will be taking a hands-on approach to develop an understanding around integers, expressions and equations, proportional relationships, percentages, the coordinate plane, and two-and-three dimensional objects. The eight mathematical practices outlined in the common core curriculum will be used to enhance mathematical competency and problem-solving skills.
Students are expected to be prepared with the following materials DAILY:
School Issued Chromebook (fully charged for the school day)
Student Agenda
Math notebook
Pencils and erasers
