Algebra 1 is a two-semester course intended to introduce students to the basic structure of Algebra through the use and application of linear and exponential relationships, polynomials, quadratic and radical functions, and linear models. There will be a strong focus on the eight mathematical practices outlined in the common core curriculum to improve mathematical competency and problem solving skills. This high school level course meets the mathematics requirement for graduation.
Students are expected to be prepared with the following materials DAILY:
