A Mind for Numbers is a three-week summer school course intended to help students refine essential 7th Grade Math skills through the use of real-world problems and activities. Students will be taking a hands on approach to develop an understanding around integers, expressions and equations, proportional relationships, percents, probability, and two-and-three-dimensional objects. There will be a strong focus on the eight mathematical practices outlined in the common core curriculum to improve mathematical competency and problem solving skills.
Students are expected to be prepared with the following materials DAILY:
School Issued Chromebook (fully charged for the school day)
Student Agenda
Math notebook
Pencils and erasers
