Grade 8 Math is a two-semester course intended to introduce students to three critical areas of secondary mathematics: formulating and reasoning about expressions and equations, grasping the concept of a function, and analyzing two-and-three-dimensional spaces. There will be a strong focus on the eight mathematical practices outlined in the common core curriculum to improve mathematical competency and problem solving skills.
Students are expected to be prepared with the following materials DAILY:
