Hello and a very warm welcome to all our little Robins and their families! My name is Mrs Mort and I am delighted to be your child’s class teacher here at Lathom Park C of E Primary School. 

In Robin’s Room, we create a caring, nurturing, and playful environment where our youngest learners can explore, discover, and grow at their own pace. Every day is filled with fun, laughter, and learning through play — whether we’re painting, singing, building, or exploring the outdoors. We can’t wait to get to know each of you and begin this exciting journey together as we make lots of happy memories in our nursery family. 

Our youngest learners benefit from having very experienced practitioners in the room who are able to support with early maths, communication development and we even deliver phase 1 early phoics sessions following the Red Rose Phonics scheme. We also encourage self care by having teeth brushing time every day in the room. 

We believe in a nurturing, enhanced experience for our children and so far this year our Little Robins have been Pumpkin Picking and visited Santa at Applecast Farm. We have also held several workshops for parents including Stay & Play, Communication workshops (including our school nurse), and a busy fingers workshop. We have also held a special Christmas event and an Easter Eggstravaganza!

We welcome children from age 2 into our room. We have an open door policy and encourage parents to speak to any memeber of staff about their child. We are here to support you, as well as them to ensure that they are happy and succeed. Please contact our bursar Ms Wynter to arrange a visit. We can't wait to meet you.
