OL Retake Policies

If a student earns any grade lower than a 70 on an assessment (vocab check or unit assessments), they are expected to attend tutorials to complete mandatory corrections/retakes.

To improve a vocab check grade, students will have the opportunity to retake the vocab check once. Students may be provided in class time to retake (time permitting); however, students may be required to attend tutorials to complete the retake.The retake must occur prior to taking the unit assessment.

To improve Unit assessments, students must complete a remediation activity and attend tutorials to retest within one week of receiving the failing grade.

If a student earns any grade lower than a 70% on an assignment not listed above the student has until the end of the six week marking period to correct the assignment.
