STARRY Counseling services are available at no cost to families with children up to 17 years old. Counseling services include individual, group, and family counseling as well as parenting classes. Thanks to the generosity of their donors, services are provided at no cost to the client. Insurance and money are never an issue.


Texas State University in Round Rock has a Counseling Practicum Clinic that is a fully equipped teaching clinic providing supervised clinical experience for advanced master’s degree-seeking counseling students and vital, affordable mental health services to the community. A state-of-the-art facility with a distinguished, dedicated faculty creates an excellent learning and professional environment. The clinic is open to individual adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families; both traditional and non-traditional.


Tejas Family Guidance Center is a nonprofit mental health agency solely dedicated to providing quality mental health services to youth and their families. Through early intervention, diagnosis, and treatment they help children, adolescents, young adults, individuals, and families develop the emotional skills needed for meeting life’s challenges. Their fees are based on a sliding scale to ensure everyone receives professional mental health services regardless of income.


Austin Child Guidance Center works with children up to age 17 and their family members in the central Texas region. The Center has a sliding fee scale available to families, based on family size and income. Some services to specific populations are offered for free (including services to victims / witnesses to crime or violence). Since 1951, Austin Child Guidance Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization has been dedicated to improving the mental health of children and their families. A multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors provides individual, family, and group therapy; psychiatric and psychological services; parent education; community presentations and consultations.


Bluebonnet Trails Community Services is Williamson and Travis counties' local mental health agency. They provide qualified professional psychiatrists, counselors and skilled medical team provide medication management, individual, couple, family and group therapy and coping skills to assist individuals of all ages in reaching their desired wellness goals.
