This will be my 7th year teaching in RRISD and I am thrilled to be back at LME working with students in Talent Development and 4th grade math alongside Mrs. Hanlon! I also look forward to having all 3 of my kids (for the first and last year, ever) attend LME as well. I graduated from The University of Texas (hook'em!) with a bachelor’s in Elementary Education along with certifications in English as a Second Language and TAG. My previous teaching experiences include IB (International Baccalaureate) leadership training and professional development in the Primary Years Program at Spicewood Elementary.
In addition to teaching students, I am an avid storyteller with a penchant for travel. Outside of school, I serve families and individuals through my photography where I capture memories through both digital and medium format cameras. My work has given me the opportunity to travel, both near and far, to explore new cities and diverse cultures, which in turn has allowed me to authentically connect and engage with my students in the classroom in unique ways. I'm truly grateful that I get to fulfill both of my life's passions everyday.
What brings me JOY:
family time
mushroom coffee
reading
date pudding with vanilla ice cream
traveling
mountains and oceans
golfing
photography
Longhorn sports
hikes
working out
miniature schnauzers
electrolyte water
interior designing and art
gardening
