Learning Goal:

• Use effective search strategies to find valid information in order to plan a trip to a destination of your choice. Use your imagination and creative thinking to produce a digital artifact to highlight your imaginary trip.

Warm-up:

• Open your Dream Vacation and leave as an open tab
• Begin typing in Urban Keyboarding REACH NEXT TEST BY FRIDAY! GOAL: 30wpm

Lesson (Wait for teacher instruction):

• Monday & Tuesday:
  • Lesson in Learning.com: Effective Search Strategies
  • Introduce My Dream Vacation, begin researching locations and activities
• Wednesday-Friday: In Google Classroom>My Dream Vacation>

• Monday:
  • Complete 2 more activity slides and go through checklist
• Tuesday:
  • Create obstacle courses for Spheros
• Wednesday:
  • Write the code to create a key for your maze/obstacle course.
• Thursday
  • Swap courses with other groups & write code
• Friday
  • Sphero Olympics!
