Emergency Situation- The following is the staff protocol to follow in the case of an emergency.
Staff Manifests
Each department will be responsible for maintaining a manifest of working employees, indicating their name and job assignment. This manifest will be maintained for purposes of staff accountability during an evacuation.
Staff Marshalling Area
For non-emergent situations (i.e. inclement weather) employees will meet in the Atrium at the South end of SoFi Stadium. Should the need arise for a total evacuation, staff will be instructed and required to meet at the staff marshaling area located at the Red Zone Parking Area near Staff Parking.
Event Command Center
This is located inside the Production Building.
The Event Command Center on-site provides our staff and patrons with emergency information in time of need. The Event Command Center is open from 11am each day and closed at midnight. There will be a security presence on the radio 24 hours a day for the entirety of the festival.
In any emergency, please note that the ECC will communicate with all staff the exact plan based on the incident at hand. Radios will have an ALL CALL feature that can communicate with all channels across all zones, therefore sharing the information to everyone within earshot of a radio. Additionally, there will be Bull Horns pre-located at medical stations, production areas, and stages for staff to communicate with patrons.
Emergency Evacuation Procedure
- Staff should always be familiar with their closest Emergency Exit and egress plan.
- Staff will be notified of an evacuation via stage messaging and/or a supervisor/manager.
- Staff will assist with ensuring all points of egress are open and unobstructed.
- Staff will direct guests to the nearest exit in a CALM and ORDERLY manner and prohibit re-entry.
- After clearing their area, staff will re-assemble with their supervisor at the Staff Marshaling Area.
Contacting Security
If you have an emergency on-site or if you witness something that makes you uncomfortable, reach out to security as soon as the incident occurs.
Security dispatch will have their own channel on the radio called Security Main (Ch. 2). If there is security needed in your area, please call so they are able to assess the situation and work with you to find a solution.
Staff-Related Incidents
If an incident occurs, whether security or medical, please contact the Security Main (Ch. 2) channel on your radio or on the nearest radio immediately. They will provide you with all information necessary to
file a report quickly and correctly.
Incident Reporting
Incidents should be reported to Dept Heads. Any reported incidents should be documented using the incident report document.

1. Situation, Name & Location: Describe the SITUATION, your NAME, and the LOCATION. Provide THREE points of reference so command can easily identify where you are.
2. Describe Patient (if applicable): Age, gender, ailment, symptoms, what is wrong?
3. Look for Help: Protect your patient, and continue monitoring your radio. Flag down medical/security, and quickly lead them to the patient when they arrive on the scene. Stay on the channel until you confirm that help has arrived on the scene.
Employee Injuries
If you are injured on the job, stop working and report the injury immediately to your supervisor and first aid personnel. We need to take care of you and complete an incident report. Any staff related medical need can be seen at any First Aid and we will have report writers located at those tents to get them logged + supervisor notification.
If you are unable to get to a First Aid location on your own, please call for assistance on Ch.1 EMERGENCY.
