Beyond Rockford 

The National FFA Convention & Expo is the largest annual gathering of FFA members, held in Indianapolis, Indiana. It features leadership workshops, career expos, competitions, and keynote speakers, celebrating agricultural education and student achievements. 

The Iowa FFA State Leadership Conference is an annual event held in Ames, Iowa, where FFA members gather to participate in leadership workshops, career development events, award recognitions, and networking opportunities. It celebrates agricultural education and student achievements across the state.

This year at sub-districts, we had three groups/ individuals compete. Wyatt Parcher competed in Ag Broadcasting and received Bronze. Grace Schmitt competed in a Job Interview, received Gold, and advanced to districts. Then, for the first time in Rockford history, we had a group of JH students compete in the Conduct of Meetings. They received Bronze.
