About me
Hello, my name is Jennifer Schmitt, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a proud graduate of RRMR and a former member of the Rockford FFA. Agriculture has always been a central part of my life. My husband, Robbie, and I, along with our two daughters, Grace and Ellie, who also attend RRMR, produce corn, soybeans, and hay on our farm. We also operate a cow-calf herd, feeding out our calves and marketing our beef directly to consumers. I share a deep connection with this community, having been a part of it for many years, and I am excited to continue this journey with all of you.
This fall marks my 16th year in education but my first as an Agriculture Education teacher. Previously, I served as a special education consultant and Director of Special Education for Central Rivers Area Education Agency. While my time at CRAEA was fulfilling, I am overjoyed to return to my roots in Agricultural Education and FFA, as it was my original plan when I graduated from RRMR in 1999.
