Daily Residential Services, also known as Supported Community Living (SCL) Services provides people with disabilities the opportunity to live as independently as possible within their community.
Services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and located in a residential group home setting.

This goal-focused program maintains and increases the independence of individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illness and brain injury
while providing 24-hour staff support.
Individuals access the community of their choice with staff support to increase their independence and form meaningful relationships with peers as well as gain skills to live in a more independent setting.
Individuals have continual support with any health or safety needs that they require assistance with.
Individuals are provided staff oversight and supervision on a 24/7 basis.

RISE Ltd. takes the time to understand each person’s needs and interests. We collaborate with the individuals and their families or guardians, case managers, vocational providers and other members of their support teams to develop individualized plans focused on reaching new milestones.
Our Daily Residential program offers personalized services including:
24/7 staffing
Medication and Health management - Promoting healthy lifestyles, Increasing safety awareness, Attending medical appointments, Taking medications, Understanding and assisting with individualized medical needs
Community integration - Learning to navigate in the community, Community awareness
Management of daily activities - Cooking, Cleaning, Personal cares
Financial Management/Representative Payee
Life skills development - Problem solving skills, Learning self-awareness
Transportation - Transportation to medical appointments, community events and activities
Behavioral - Learning effective coping skills, Conflict resolution, Anger management skills, Managing mental health symptoms
Protection and Advocacy - Rights and responsibilities, Protection from exploitation
Social - Recognizing social cues, Interrelationship skills, Developing social skills, Developing friendships

Staff are present 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide oversight and supervision for any health and safety needs.
Individuals may also have time alone as stated in their individual program plan while out in the community.
What locations are Daily Residential Services provided?
What locations are Daily Residential Services provided?
Services take place at our 3 group home locations as well as in the community:
Breezy Summit - 10 bed group home in Elkader
Curtis House - 5 bed group home in Oelwein
Frederick House - 5 bed group home in Oelwein
Individuals, Families, Guardians, and Case Management can make arrangements for tours of our group homes upon request.

Hourly Residential Services are funded through Medicaid, County Funding and Private Pay.
