Today, in the 3rd-6th grade classroom, the students learned to set up their notebooks and how to wait patiently and quietly for others. As one of the teachers spoke, the children listened attentively to direction,and they waited patiently and quietly to the next step. They confirmed they were done when they raised their pencil in the air.

In the 3rd-6th grade group, they wrote about a picture of the Amazon and what it would be like being there. Then, they explored three different parts of the world. They explored France, Africa, and Egypt, as an animal from that region. They researched the animal they wanted to be and how it survived in that region.

Today, in the 3rd-6th grade classroom, the students set up their Google Classroom account, a free program created by Google for schools to create, distribute, and grade assignments online. After, they researched about the animal they chose the day prior. The point of this research was for the students to better understand their animal and the turf they live in.

Today, in the 3rd-6th grade classroom, they read the Jungle Book and discussed what a character does in a story. The students talked how a character could change and what they feel throughout the story. Then they continued their research on their animal. The research was more in depth because they are learned more about their animal and the biome they thrive in.

The students used Google Slides to build their stories and used pictures to fit the scenario of their story. Today was their last day that they had a chance to work on their story.
