Harry the Tarantula

Harry is a five year-old tarantula. He is very silly and is telling a joke. “Knock-knock. Who’s there? Boo. Boo who? Why are you crying?” He was going to be a big brother. He wanted a sister, but it was a brother. When his brother was born, Harry did not like Baby Lucas at all when Lucas cried at night. The reason why Harry wanted a sister was because he wanted to know what it would be like to have a baby sister. But one night Harry watched Baby Lucas fall asleep as Harry read a book to him. And Harry got the hang of it and from that point on he did it every night. He was so proud of himself that he loved his baby brother now with all of his heart and he would love him until the day Harry died, but he had an empty spot for his missing baby sister.

Harry lived in a burrow. Harry loved his house. He said that he did not want to move. One day he went on a walk with his family to the park. He went on the swing and got pushed on the swing by his dad. Lucas got pushed on the baby swing by his mom. His mom was making Lucas and Harry laugh. Lucas was eleven months so he knew how to laugh. Harry was making his mom and dad laugh with his funny jokes like the werewolf joke. “What did the bus driver say to the werewolf? Where wolf?” When they went home, Lucas and Harry took a bath. After they took a bath they hopped into their PJs. And then they went to sleep. The next morning Lucas and Harry woke up and had breakfast. Harry went to clean his room and make his bed after breakfast. After cleaning his room and making his bed, his dad took him to school. Lucas went to take his nap. After Lucas woke up, they went to pick up Harry at school. When Harry got home, he did his homework. When he finished his homework, he got into bed to take a nap. After his nap, they went to the park to play on the playground. They went home and took a bath and went to sleep. Even though he didn’t have a sister, Harry was happy with his family. And that’s story of Harry the Tarantula.
