What are Quick Links and why should I use them?
They’re bite-sized, tappable links that surface the most important info about your pet—fast. Think:
Feeding instructions
Medication times and doses
Emergency contacts
Behavior quirks
“Do NOT give cheese” alerts
Instead of digging through long notes, outdated texts, or (let’s be real) the black hole that is an inbox, you can find them via a Quick Link. Tap. Info found. Drama averted. You control what’s linked.
How do Calendar Events work?
Calendar Events are your pet’s personal scheduling tool—built to track everything from the routine to the unforgettable.
Use them to log:
Vet appointments or medication schedules
Grooming, training, or therapy sessions
Walks, sitter visits, or feeding changes
Allergies, milestones, or health check-ins
Birthdays, adoption days—or even “first yard poop” (we get it)
You’ll start with a set number of events in your freemium plan. When you need more, you can add individual events or expand with Add-Ons—no subscription required. Let the app remember—so you don’t have to.
What’s a Care Request and how do I use them?
It’s how you formally ask one of your confirmed caregiver 's to assist with your pet—whether it’s for a walk, meds, a drop-in visit, or a weekend of full-blown pet parenting.
Here’s how it works:
Here’s how it works:
Choose the pet who needs care
Select a trusted, confirmed caregiver from your circle
Add the details—date, time, instructions—and link any important notes or documents
Send the request—and await their response.
The caregiver will be notified and can review and accept your request. Once the care is accepted and confirmed, you're ready to go.
And yes—you can change your mind. You can revoke or cancel a Care Request at any time before the care is in progress. No awkward texts, no confusion—just simple, reliable coordination.

How can I share care tasks or notes to others?
As a Pet Parent, you have full control over what care information is shared — and with whom.
You can choose to share tasks, notes, and important care details with trusted caregivers in two secure ways:
Through a Care Request, where you select exactly what’s relevant for that care moment
Via your pet’s QR code, which provides quick, read-only access to shared info in real-time
It’s a simple way to keep your pet’s people informed, supported, and ready to step in — with care that’s clear, connected, and right at your (and their) fingertips.
Nope! The QR code is not a RooSource™. It’s a built-in feature of your pet’s profile and is available to all users at no cost. Unlike RooSources™, it doesn’t count against your freemium pack or require an add-on to use.
Think of it as a core safety tool that complements your RooSources™, rather than something you need to manage or refill.
The QR code tied to your pet’s profile is a unique, scannable link that provides fast access to key pet information—especially in situations where time matters.
Each pet has a unique QR code linked to their profile
When someone scans the code, they see a limited, public-facing version of your pet’s profile
You control what’s visible—such as medical needs, allergies, your contact info, or a behavioral issues.
By default, only basic, limited information is visible—such as your contact info or a key health alert. But you have full control over what’s shared.
You decide:
What’s shown publicly
Which documents or notes (if any) are accessible
Whether the QR code is active or hidden
Nothing is public unless you choose to make it visible.
To use it:
Simply tap the QR code to open it in a larger, scannable format
It’s designed to be scanned directly from your screen—ideal for quick access during care handoffs or emergencies
At this time, the QR code cannot be downloaded, shared, or printed, but it always reflects the most current version of your pet’s visible profile information.
