Roll-in refers to the end of the school year when we collect Chromebooks from students before school is out. It generally works like this:
It's very important that students come through the line during their time slot. Unfortunately, we have students who would rather not wait in that line and leave, then try to come turn in their Chromebooks when they think everyone else has finished. Of course, they have to wait in line with the other students who did the same thing. :\
If you're a parent or an alum and are willing to help out with Chromebook roll-in, we'd love to have you!
We are doing Senior CB roll-in May 20.
Underclassmen who opt-out of summer take-home (parent email required) will turn in their Chromebooks on June 3.
Please email Laura Coulter at lcoulter@richland2.org if you are available to help us with this lovely and crazy dance.
Where do I go for CB roll-in?
Do I have to bring my case when I turn in my Chromebook?
What if I don't have all my parts that day?
I lost my charger. What do I do?
My Chromebook is broken. What do I do?
My Chromebook is broken. Will I have to pay for that at roll-in?
At the end of roll-in, we will charge each student who was opt-out by parent request and didn't turn in a device the full cost of replacement. These Chromebooks are $350 and chargers are an additional $25.
Please note that Mrs. Coulter does not work in the summer. Her last day on Westwood's campus is Tuesday, June 11.
