First Sergeant Rena M. Key is the AI of the Ridge View High School JROTC Program.

She enlisted in the Army at the Augusta, GA MEPS and attended Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training as a Personnel Information System Management Specialist at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

She served as a personnel information system management specialist, 546th Personnel Services Battalion, Fort Hood, Texas; personnel automation section sergeant, Military Personnel Division, III Corps, Fort Hood; deployed as personnel section sergeant, Forward Assessment Sustainment Team, 15th Personnel Service Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Calvary Division, Iraq; director, Administrative Specialist, and Human Resources Information Specialist Course, and instructor, writer, platoon sergeant, 369th Adjutant General Battalion, Fort Jackson; equal opportunity advisor, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, Fort Bliss, Texas; deployed equal opportunity advisor and sexual assault response coordinator, Afghanistan; instructor, Sexual Harassment Assault Response Program Mobile Training Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss; and senior human resource sergeant, 116th Military Intelligence Brigade, Fort Gordon, Georgia.
