N-4-1 Parade Ribbon

Award Description:  Awarded to cadets who have participated in local/community parades (Homecoming, Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day, etc.)u

Criteria:  Must participate in a minimum of 1 parade event (static or moving parade event)

N-4-2  Recruiting Ribbon

Awarded By: SAI

Award Description:  Awarded to cadets who recruit students into the JROTC program each semester

Criteria:  Must complete and submit all recruitment paperwork through the cadet leadership to the cadre.  Recruitee must be enrolled on the RVHS schedules for the next semester once cadet is reflected on the RVHS JROTC roster in order to the award to be presented

N-4-3 Volunteer School Support Ribbon

Awarded By:  SAI

Award Description:  Awarded annually to cadets who have volunteered in a minimum of three JROTC or school support events

Criteria:  Must be documented on sign in sheets for three different events or verified by the cadre

N-4-4 Fundraising Ribbon

Awarded By: SAI

Award Description:  Awarded per semester to cadets who raise money for the battalion that semester.

Criteria:  Quantity of money raised in order to earn the ribbon will be determined by the cadre

N-4-5 Volunteer Service Ribbon

Awarded By: SAI

Award Description:  Awarded to cadets for every 5 hours of participation or single event in non-school support

Criteria:  Must have supporting documentation reflecting school or community service greater than 5 hours in  duration or single event per semester.

N-4-6  Service Learning Ribbon

Awarded By:  SAI

Award Description:  Awarded annually to cadets who participate in service learning projects  

Criteria:  Must be documented as a participant in at least one service learning project.

N-4-7  Excellent Staff Performance Ribbon

Awarded By:  SAI

Award Description:  Awarded annually to cadet staff officers for excellent performance

Criteria:  Must successfully serve on the battalion staff for a minimum of one school semester
