Thursday 4/6: Music and Memory
Read or view before class:
● Please think of 2 songs that in some way connect to your service and/or homecoming experience: songs that you listened to when you served, ones that are interwoven with homecoming, or that have helped you to make sense of things. Send the titles to Mark by Tuesday morning 4/6 (he’ll make a playlist).
● Tonight you’ll share your 2 songs with the class, and tell us why you selected each one. If you have written songs yourself (or done paintings or sketches) and you’d like to share them instead, please do!
Prepare or organize before class:
● Pick 2 songs, based on the instructions above.
● Make a list of reasons why you picked them.
