Harris Turner

A dancer, singer, actor, hailing from Rochester, New York. He began his dance training at two years old at the Rochester Association for the Performing Arts (RAPA). His passion for movement led him to the company of world renowned, Tony winning, choreographer Garth Fagan, with whom he studied and was a member of the school's touring ensemble for four years. While attending Rush Henrietta Senior High, Harris was an active member in RH spotlight theater,RH Singers, and Spectrum Singers which is where his love for performing really took over.

Harris went on to attend Point Park University as a BFA dance major, where he would work closely with and perform works by Dwight Rhoden, Ron Tassone, Kyle Abraham, Mark Morris, and Troy Powell. Shortly after his first semester he was given the opportunity to go on a 10 month world tour as a Principal Singer/ dancer with Norwegian Cruise Lines. After nearly two and a half years of traveling the world he decided to move to NYC to pursue his Broadway aspirations. Moving to the city in 2017 he spent his first year apprenticing with Ronald K. Brown’s Evidence Dance Company.

In January of 2018, his world would forever be changed as he joined the Original Broadway Cast of Summer: The Donna Summer Musical as Pastor/ Andrew Gaines/ Ensemble. After a year with his Donna Summer family, Harris traveled down under for the 50th Anniversary tour of HAIR: A Tribal Rock Opera as HUD. A six month tour ending with an amazing sold out run at the Sydney Opera House, which was definitely a highlight of his career thus far. Upon returning to the states, Harris went on to join the cast of Disney’s Frozen on Broadway as ensemble/ US KRISTOFF/ US PABBIE, where he made his Principal Debut after only 4 shows. These days he is keeping busy with commercials, tv/ movie gigs, and voiceover work while juggling home renovations, two jobs, and three very rambunctious pups. Instagram @big.bits.turner
