Yale Policy Institute – High School Fellowship Opportunity:
Applications are now open for the First Annual Yale Policy Institute (YPI) High School Fellowship, a nine-week intensive program for high school students passionate about policy, governance, and global affairs. (Virtual Format)
Students must meet the following minimum criteria: Be a current High School student in grades 9th to 12th; Demonstrate a strong academic record (a minimum GPA of 3.3 is recommended); Show evidence of intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in policy, research, current affairs, or related fields (government, economics, history, social sciences, STEM-policy intersections, etc.); Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as demonstrated through essays, coursework, and extracurricular activities; Be prepared to commit to the full eight-week program, including required weekly assignments, lectures, small group discussions, and policy proposal submissions;

Yale Women’s Leadership Initiative High School Fellowship – Winter 2025:
Are you interested in leadership, mentorship, and making an impact in your community? This 9-week, cohort-based program offers high school students the chance to:
Learn from Yale undergraduates and guest speakers across STEM, business, law, arts, public service; Build professional and personal skills like résumé writing, LinkedIn presence, and public speaking through interactive workshops, mentor sessions, and meaningful discussions; Receive mentorship from Yale students and trailblazers in a variety of fields, and join a supportive community of peers; Design and present your own community-focused leadership project, with the opportunity to showcase it at the annual Yale Women’s Leadership Initiative Conference on Yale University’s campus. This program runs from November 29, 2025 – January 31, 2026 with weekly sessions on Saturdays, 11am–12pm EST. Please note a $10 application fee. There is no tuition fee for this program. CT Bar Association Law Camp:The Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) is happy to announce that applications for the 2025 CBA Law Camp are now open. CBA Law Camp is a free week-long summer day camp for students who will be in grades 9-12 in the fall and are interested in the field of law. The program's goal is to assist students who overcame adversity in their lives or would be the first member of their family to join the legal profession and cannot afford traditional private camps. Campers will learn about the legal profession and receive instruction on critical and analytical thinking to help them succeed in their educational and professional careers. CBA Law Camp includes panel discussions, mentorship, advocacy training, and preparing for a mini mock trial competition. Campers will meet attorneys, judges, and law students; observe court proceedings; and learn what it's like to be a lawyer. CBA Law Camp is a public service provided by the CBA. Limited spots are available. For campers selected for admission, the program is free. 2025 CBA Law Camp will be the week of July 7 to July 11, 2025 in Hartford, CT.
