Ongoing Litigation for the Elmhurst Police pension as they do not want to be in the consolidated pension fund for the Police officers - at the IL Supreme Court as of 6/27/23.  The Fire pension has been consolidated.

Contributions / Payroll 

This shows the ratio of contributions that fund the pension over the respective pensioner payroll dollar loads making a great visual that is recommended per GASB funding guidance.  Stick with a plan and do not get emotional high or low - the tortoise usually wins in this race.  The current Pension Funding policy does not allow funding below 100% of the Actuarial recommended funding and becomes an up and down funding cash flow that can swing plus or minus 1-2 million dollars from a steady payroll ratio.
