I am a proud public transportation, housing, and safe streets advocate. I am a lead with Peninsula for Everyone, a chapter of YIMBY, and a Board Member of Telegraph for People and the Cal Berkeley Democrats. I also work within UC Berkeley's student Office of External Affairs as the Safe Streets Project Lead.
In October 2023, I organized "Shattuck for People", a rally to occupy a block of Shattuck Avenue in Downtown Berkeley to display the positivity of people-oriented streets. We hosted two live bands, a number of advocacy groups, and thousands of participants and passerbys.
I work with SF BART, the Bay Area's regional transportation network, to promote youth and family outreach. I have coordinated college presentations, supported the work of the social media team through our successful "Grandparents on BART" series, and assisted in outreach for the Not One More Girl initiative, which combats gender-based violence on public transit. I have done similar volunteer-based work with Caltrain, the peninsula's regional and commuter rail, promoting the implementation of their all-electric fleet and providing feedback on rider outreach.
If you work for a transportation agency, advocacy group, or nonprofit and are interested in my outreach work, you can contact me here.
In addition to public transit and housing advocacy, I am a skilled democratic campaign strategist. My field team propelled Congressman Kevin Mullin's campaign to victory, and I work with some of the top young democratic strategists in the nation to elect progressives up and down the ballot. I've worn many hats – from Campaign Manager to Social Media Strategist to Field Director to Communications Director. My electoral work has been featured by some of the top youth advocacy organizations in the nation.
After four cycles, concluding as the Field Director for Antonio Lopez for San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, I am turning to issue-based races and policy advocacy.
