Here's some of my best work.
Research, data analysis, writing, design
Authored "The Hours Problem" under the supervision of the San Francisco Parks Alliance, which details inequities within the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department's hours of operation. Created a supplemental GIS tool which visualizes the issue's extent and impact. The report analyzes problems with a lack of standardization, underfunding, and improper public outreach, and makes recommendations to shape a parks department that invites everyone.

"Mythbusting Fracking" was Gen Z for Change's response to the Presidential Debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. The post provides facts about fracking while redefining it, and its impacts on communities. The post uses eye-catching facts from reputable sources to alter the public's perception of fracking, delivered in an engaging, digestable, and shareable format. The post directly responds to the debate with a 24-hour turnaround. Has gained 35,000+ views, nearly half of which are from non-followers.

Creation and production of "Grandparents on BART", a series for BART's social media pages which highlights the senior experience on public transit. Grandchildren interview their grandparents about their memories on the system and public transit in general, or ask for their first impressions, depending on their experience. Participating seniors have pointed out accessibility, easy signage, and major developments to the system since its conception. Seniors of all abilities have been involved, and enjoy the shoot, creating a lasting family memory.
The series encourages children, who view the content, to bring their older or disabled relatives on public transit, counteracting misconceptions of what accessible transportation looks like. Grandchildren also enjoy participating, taking pride in their involvement and often inducing more trips by themselves and loved ones on BART.
