Campaign Overview:

Every teacher welcomes the opportunity to earn PDPs at no cost; teachers must earn PDPs to maintain their certification, and often this comes at great expense. The PD on the Beach campaign allows teachers to earn self-paced PDPs in a remote setting. While refreshED coaches DO NOT recommend carrying computers to sandy, hot beaches, teachers DO typically use their phones while relaxing on the shore. For teachers who prefer the pool over sand, we do not require the beach to earn the PDPs. In short, this campaign allows teachers the flexibility of the summer.
