This food safety fundamentals course is a comprehensive introduction and review of food safety risks and associated risk reduction practices. It will focus on how to confidently make sound, science based assessments and decisions around matters of food safety in the restaurants, so as to ensure restaurants deliver on RECIPE’s promise to provide guests with safe, wholesome food as part of a great guest experience.

This course reviews the tools and procedures necessary for a Manager to create a culture of food safety in the restaurant.
The training will provide knowledge around confidently locating and leveraging resources that will enhance food safety programs, and mitigate risks to ensure restaurants deliver on Recipe’s promise to provide guests with safe, wholesome food as part of a great guest experience.
It is highly recommended to complete the Food Safety: Foundations & Daily Operations course prior to this course.

In today’s evolving landscape where there are many different avenues that guests can provide feedback to restaurants, it is critical that restaurant leader’s understand how to recover guests by focusing on hospitality. This course will focus on how to handle guest concerns which greatly impacts the guest experience both inside and outside of the restaurant.

This course will review techniques and procedures necessary for Managers/Operators to identify and reduce both the hazard risks within their restaurants and the subsequent costs.

This course will examine the specific details of off-premise operations including the guest profile, daily success measures, profitability, and corporate social responsibility.
