Step 1. Have them complete the initial survey: Let's Go!
If they are unlicensed, they will be provided instructions and the discount code to start their Xcel Course. It will instruct them to enter your name in the "Hiring Manager" section during course registration. Make sure they schedule and provide their test date to you ASAP.
If they are licensed, they need to enter in your name in the "Referred By" section.
MAKE SURE YOU WALK THEM THROUGH THIS PART AND THEY PUT YOUR NAME, NOT IG OR TIKTOK ETC.
Step 2. Request the team Contracting Manager to send their HCMS invite.
Make sure you have their full first and last name, best cell phone number, email, and NPN# (if applicable)
Submit your request here: SUPPORT TICKET
Step 3a. Direct unlicensed partners to Licensing
Step 3b. Direct licensed partners to Contracting & Sales Training
Step 4. Make sure to stay in touch with your new agents and help them along each stage of the process. The faster we get them to their first sale, the better!
**Any issues with someone not appearing in your downline in HCMS, reach out to the Team Contracting Manager for support**
You need to be licensed in your downline's resident state PRIOR to them entering the contracting stage. If they are already licensed, it is best you get that state license ASAP.
Everyone deserves the chance to be in business for themselves. We need to make sure that any agent we are bringing onboard, is provided with the proper expectations and guided along each step of the way so they do not fall behind in the process.
There are no deal breakers (aside from their state background check requirements) but some questions to ask before they come onboard in order to make sure they have the right mindset are:
Do they have money set aside in order to properly invest in starting their own business?
Be transparent regarding state licensing fees and startup costs ex. Phoneburner and leads.
Extensions for the education course will NOT be paid for.
We want new students to have the proper urgency and attention to starting this new opportunity. They should not have any issues completing the course earlier than the provided 30 days.
Recommended no less than $500 for their first batch of leads. Leads should NOT be purchased until they have had a Lead & Business Strategy Meeting with you.
It is also recommended they start off with the less expensive 1- and 3-month-old leads while they are learning the ropes.
Are they comfortable with being a 1099 entrepreneur? They need to be well aware this is Commission ONLY.
Will they be starting this opportunity full or part time?
What are their income goals?
WHY do they want to reach these financial goals?
