Many people question how they got a cavity when they do not eat sugary foods like candy, desserts, and soda.
Sugar added to our food is not the only reason you can get a cavity.

Eating a cookie or having a soda will immediately cause a cavity to form. But consuming drinks and foods consistently that have large amounts of sugar and/or starch can cause cavities over time.
